Celebrate!

Last night before bed I was having one of those long "what if" conversations with my two oldest daughters Laura and Mia.

What if our house catches on fire?

What if I have to call 91?

What if our dog dies and I miss her?

5 Years

While I was unpacking and trying to get more settled in our new house I stumbled upon some old paintings I did years ago.

Then I saw this painting...

I remember the day I painted this.  I had never done a portrait before. They terrified me with the specific detail and proportions and they never turned out the way I hoped. But I was determined to make this work.

Beach Fun!

Finally the stomach bug has left our house and we started our summer fun with a day at the beach! It has been in the 90's at our house and were eager for some cooler weather. It was perfect. This was our first beach trip with all five kids. We have gone before with different combinations of the group but not all 5 together. So of course I was picture happy. :)
